Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of what makes an effective manager, from developing positive relationships, communicating with team members and motivating members to set their performance target expectations, and coaching staff to empower growth whilst having an innovative mindset.
Dr. Sharmila Sethumadhavan
Dr Sharmila is a certified trainer by the Institute of Training and Development and has been certified internationally in the Train The Trainer programme, mentored by Dr Mario del Castillo. She has developed modules and conducted programmes in Executive Leadership and Management, and Business Communication for individuals as well as for corporates.
Her main strength is developing and training young executives who intend to develop their career; having shouldered responsibilities from managing staff members in an academic setting to developing and mentoring young professionals.
Dr Sharmila holds a PhD from the Swiss School of Management - her doctoral research investigated consumer behaviour and the intention of travel for baby boomers.
