Life on Campus

Adjusting to University Life

Attending University for the first time is an exciting challenge for young people; it is the experience of a lifetime and represents the culmination of an academic phase in one’s life. The transition from school to University is significant and students frequently require support to ease the transition and fulfil their true potential.

The Student Affairs Unit at IUMW has the role of supporting students during this transition, subsequently during the whole period of study and post study when the student becomes a member of the University alumni. Being a new and small University, IUMW prides itself on taking a personal interest in the well-being of its students.

Student Affairs provide a one-stop shop for supporting students on any issue – from academic to personal. Its experienced staff are always available for a chat and can offer a range of services to directly meet students’ needs.
