Playing with the Little Ones
In the Let’s Play! – More Play Everyday event that was organised by the Faculty of Education & Social Services & the IUMW Marketing team, panellists at a forum discussed the importance of playing activities in the development of young children. While there are pressures and expectations among parents for their children to excel in literary skills such as reading, writing, speaking, and reasoning, holistic development of young children is best achieved in various development areas, including musical-rhythmic, interpersonal, and bodily-kinesthetic areas. The involvement of parents in early childhood education is critical, as they play the most important role in the development of their children.
