IUMW Celebrates CNY With Lion Dance

It was just past lunch when the crowd gathered at IUMW’s main lobby, anticipating the upcoming lion dance performance by Sekolah Menengah Chung Hua Klang. The rest of campus ground to a halt as staff and students took their viewing spots, with the majority wearing red or in traditional Chinese clothing to join in the festivities. During the performance on campus, the lions toured the lobby and office areas to usher in good fortune and wealth as well as to ward off evil spirits. Let's hope the lions ushered in good fortune and luck to the university, and that 2019, the Year of the Pig, will be a great year for everyone at IUMW.
